Sunday Sessions @ The Briers

Sunday 2 December 2018 . 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

We are so pumped to bring back the Sunday Sessions at the Briars series again, thanks to receiving votes and funding via the Pick My Project government grants. Our success in being selected for this government initiative validated our dedication to building a free/low cost community family day out that we hope will become one of the region’s most anticipated events.

Our ethos is simple. An event BY the locals FOR the locals. Here at Bay Events we are passionate about our local community and showcasing all that it has to offer.

This month, get ready to wrap your chops around some delicious food including;

The most mouth-watering rolls from Roast n Roll;
Loaded hot dogs and slinky potatoes from Twisted Spudz & Dogz;
A Food Truck Somewherewill have you sorted for nachos and tacos;
Pizza Party Hirewill be pumping out their delicious wood-fired pizzas;
For some tasty ribs, see the team at Wilson’s Wine Cellar;

And that’s just food and drinks!!

How about the live performers, we hear you ask. Good question.

We open the series with local singer/songwriter & actress, Amber Walker to whom we welcome back to the Sunday Sessions at the Briars stage.

Oskar Proy who made it through to the Knockout Round on the last series of The Voice is back to share with you his incredible talents.

The hilarious boys DJ Smally Biggz and 3Pac will have all the kids (and parents alike) on their feet and having a boogie. It’s lots of fun!

Teagan’s bold, layered pop tunes are crafted to make you feel good and let your mind wander at the same time.

We welcome the lad’s from The Crown Royal with some feel good rock/pop/country crossover goodness!

And to close the day with local hero, Lachlan Dunne. Not only is he a fine musician but he is also the founder of Terra Tribe, a Mornington Peninsula based compost company for hospitality businesses that is aiming to create a network of sustainable venues. Saving the environment one bin at a time! We will have some Terra Tribe bins on-site too.

We are incredibly stoked to have the amazing kids at Mt Martha’s Soul Circus Aerial School at The Sunday Sessions at the Briars, performing between the musicians. Make sure you check them out!

And keep an eye out for our event photographer, Jess from Jessica Shepherd Photography capturing all the fun on the day!
